Fluorescence emission from dendrimers and its pH dependence.
A strong fluorescence emission was observed from different kinds of dendrimers under acidic condition. There was a remarkable difference in fluorescence properties between second and fourth generation NH2-terminated poly(amido amine) dendrimers. It can be assumed that the backbone of the dendrimer played the key role in forming the novel fluorescent center.

Measurement of the pressure dependence of air fluorescence emission induced by electrons
The fluorescence detection of ultra high energy (& 1018 eV) cosmic rays requires a detailed knowledge of the fluorescence light emission from nitrogen molecules, which are excited by the cosmic ray shower particles along their path in the atmosphere. We have made a precise measurement of the fluorescence light spectrum excited by MeV electrons in dry air. We measured the relative intensities of...

The fluorescence detection of ultra high energy (J10 eV) cosmic rays requires a detailed knowledge of the fluorescence light emission from nitrogen molecules, which are excited by the cosmic ray shower particles along their path in the atmosphere. We have made a precise measurement of the fluorescence light spectrum excited by MeV electrons in dry air. We measured the relative intensities of 34...
متن کاملNetwork Dependence of Strong Reciprocity
Experimental evidence suggests that human decisions involve a mixture of self-interest and internalized social norms which cannot be accounted for by the Nash equilibrium behavior of Homo Oeconomicus. This led to the notion of strong reciprocity (or altruistic punishment) to capture the human trait leading an individual to punish norm violators at a cost to himself. For a population with small ...
